A receipt that is still uploading or being read now shows Foreign receipt? Add bank amount in your receipts list.

1. Tap Foreign receipt? Add bank amount to open Post to.
2. Enter the amount from your bank notification. The field is labelled with your bank account's currency, for example Amount charged (GBP).
3. Tap Save.

The row then shows the figure, for example Bank amount: GBP 12.34. Quenta still reads the original amount and currency from the receipt, keeps them separate and puts them on the Xero transaction. If the receipt turns out to be in the same currency as your bank amount and the two don't match, it goes to Review so you can check it. Neither figure is changed for you.

The field is optional. You can still add or correct the charged amount after the scan, as before.

Quenta for Android 0.1.0 is on Google Play.

The date picker has a Today button. Tap it to set the receipt date to today's date on your phone.

When you share a receipt to Quenta, your saved companies and bank accounts appear in the share panel straight away, while the connection refreshes. Tap Done to save the receipt and close the panel. The upload continues when a connection is available.

Admins can now swipe a receipt in Team receipts to delete it, with the same confirmation as My receipts. If the receipt has already been submitted to Xero, the confirmation warns you that the Xero transaction will be deleted too.

Settings, Email in now shows sender setup in one section and the addresses your receipts are sent to in another, as it has on the web since October.

Share a receipt photo or PDF to Quenta from another app. Choose the company and bank account in the share panel, then tap Done.

Changing a field no longer submits the receipt straight away. Correct what you need, with total, net and VAT shown and editable together, then confirm and post to Xero. If you close a receipt with unsaved edits, Quenta asks before discarding them.

Open Settings, then Restore Deleted Receipts, to bring back a receipt deleted in the last two years. You can also restore it and resubmit it to Xero. Receipts you haven't deleted don't expire.

Choose the company and bank account new receipts should use. The preference is saved to your login, so it's the same on your phone and on the web.

My receipts and Team receipts are now separate views. Search by merchant, description, category, company, bank account, submitter or amount. Filter by company, bank account, category and date, and by person in Team receipts, using a date preset or a custom range.

Quenta tells a receipt's final total apart from subtotals and VAT summaries that cover only part of it, and itemises the Xero transaction only when the breakdown is complete. A VAT summary that covers part of the receipt no longer sets off a total warning. A real conflict still asks you to check, with a message that says what disagrees.

A transaction Quenta posts to Xero now carries a link back to its receipt in Quenta.

Company admins can verify an email domain for receipt forwarding. In Settings, Email in now shows sender setup in one section and the addresses your receipts are sent to in another.

Tap the receipt in the viewfinder and the camera focuses right there. It stays sharp up close too.

When Quenta has an exchange rate for the currency, it no longer stops a foreign receipt to ask what your bank charged. It estimates the amount and posts it. Without a rate, the receipt still asks in Review. The receipt shows its own amount first and the amount charged to your account underneath, tagged estimated until you enter the real figure.

If Quenta reads the wrong currency, change it and Quenta reposts the receipt.

A receipt shows Total, Net (before VAT) and VAT together, and you can edit each. Receipts with more than one VAT rate post to Xero as separate lines.

Pro is now sold by the seat. Open Billing & users on the web to choose a plan and how many seats you need. Paid invoices are emailed to the payer and filed as receipts that don't use your scans.

If a receipt's transaction is deleted in Xero, Quenta returns the receipt to Review, so you can repost it or dismiss it.

Sign in with Xero and connect your company. On iPhone, tap + and photograph the receipt, or import a photo, image file or PDF. On the web, upload the file.

Quenta reads the receipt and posts a bank transaction to Xero with the contact, a reference and the receipt image attached. Anything it isn't sure about goes to Review instead.

Receipts that need you are pinned to the top in red, with the reason in plain words. Everything else is listed newest first. A Submitted receipt opens its transaction in Xero.

The first time Quenta meets a category, it asks which account to use and ranks its suggestions. Tick Remember this choice and the next receipt from that merchant is coded the same way.

Open a Submitted receipt to recode it on the same Xero transaction, move it to another company or bank account, or delete it. If Xero refuses because the period is locked or the transaction is reconciled, Quenta tells you why.

A capture is saved on your phone before anything is uploaded. With no connection it shows as Queued offline and uploads when you're back online.

Invite your team. Admins see team receipts according to their Xero role, and members who can only submit capture receipts for an admin to allocate a bank account.

Each company gets an email address. Forward a receipt to it and Quenta handles it like an upload.

Every organisation gets 10 free receipts a month. Pro is bought on the web, not through the App Store.
