The things usually buried
No minimum term
Monthly is the default. The annual price is an option, never a requirement, and nothing auto-renews you into a year you did not choose.
Cancel it yourself
Two clicks in the billing portal. No retention call, no notice period, no email to write.
Pro is not unlimited
It is fair use, capped at 350 receipts a month for the workspace. Saying unlimited would be easier and it would not be true.
Tax is in the price
What you see is what leaves your account. Where a registration applies, the tax is carved out of it rather than added at the last step.
Seats fill themselves
A spare licence is claimed the first time someone captures. No spare means the capture is refused rather than silently billing you for another seat.
One bill per workspace
An administrator pays once for everyone. Nobody on your team is entering their own card.
Pricing, answered
Is there a free plan or just a trial?
A free plan, not a countdown. It covers 10 receipts a month and does not expire. If you never go past that, you never pay.
Is Quenta Pro really unlimited?
No, and it would be easy to say so. Pro carries a fair use limit of 350 receipts a month for the whole workspace. Almost nobody reaches it, and if you do we get in touch rather than cutting you off silently.
Is the price per user or per company?
Per user. One licence each for the people who actually capture receipts. Billing is handled once for the whole workspace by an administrator, so you are not chasing separate subscriptions.
Do I have to commit for a year?
No. Monthly is the default and there is no minimum term. The annual price exists because some people prefer it, not because you are pushed into it.
How do I cancel?
In the billing portal, yourself, in a couple of clicks. There is no retention call to sit through and no notice period to serve.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes. The prices on this page are what you pay. Where a tax registration applies, the tax is carved out of that figure rather than added on top at checkout.
What happens when someone new joins the team?
A spare licence is claimed automatically the first time they capture a receipt. If there is no spare, the capture is refused and they are told to contact their administrator, so you are never billed for a seat by surprise.
What do I need before I can use it?
A Xero organisation and the permission to post to it. Quenta works with Xero only, so if your books are in QuickBooks, Sage or FreeAgent it is not for you yet.
Try it on this month's receipts.
The free plan is enough to find out whether it actually saves you the evening.
